A Journey Each One Must Make

Bhagwan Krishna meditating
The Bhagwad Gita is a divine dialogue between the two key players in the universal drama of life, one is the Arjuna, the human soul traversing through its journey and the other is LORD KRISHNA, the spirit Himself, the supreme creator, director, sustainer and dissolver of the drama. The eternal dialogue between the Soul and Spirit never stops and human beings are in constant exploration of the truth of life and death, from where he/she has come and where the journey will lead, sometimes roaming in vicious circles and sometimes running after the mirage to find the lasting peace and joy. The roller coaster journey is not easy and manytimes very painful for the mankind. Sometimes he/she asks why the God makes us to undergo such a turbulent and strenuous tests and sometimes he/she thanks the God for showering health, wealth, joy and peace, which may again prove to be short-lived. The dilemma never ends and the human beings continue to travel from one crest of success to other trough of failures and false happiness. Under such bewilderments,  the knowledge through the  words of Lord Krishna available in the form of  Shrimadbhagwad Gita gives mankind a pathway to walk on. The Bhagwad Gita, is a profound scripture, an operating manual on Art of Living for  realization of eternal peace and practice the science of yoga to achieve ultimate goal, the union with God. The regular study of the divine message given by Lord Krishna in the Gita leads mankind step by step along with Arjuna from the mortal consciousness of spiritual blindness, doubts and confusion to divine attunement and inner resolve  to face the battle of lives. The esoteric wisdom of Gita proclaims that everything is God. The timeless and universal message is all-encompassing in its expression of truth and only truth. The universal dialogue played between Arjuna, the seeker of truth and the Lord Krishna, the spirit and the Guru, the guide of Arjuna is constantly plays in our lives, within us, with the soul acting as the seeker and the intuition acting as Lord Krishna. The rightful regular study of Gita purifies our hearts and prompts us to meditate on the Lord longer and longer, simultaneously performing all our worldly duties to reach emancipation from the turbulences of life drama. The wisdom, the discriminative faculties and the intuition are gifted to us constantly as a result of the study of the Gita scripture which guide us to perform our rightful duties in life without undergoing pain and nurture success. The dilemma within is resolved in an understanding of the nature of matter.

The spiritual masters, the Gyanis  say that none has powers to describe in words the glory of Gita, for it is a book containing the highest esoteric doctrine. It is essence of Vedas; it's language is so sweet & simple that man can understand easily after a little practice; but the thoughts are so deep that none can arrive at their end even after constant study throughout a life time. Every day they exhibit new facets of truth and therefore, every day they remain fresh and new. Vedvyasa, while describing Gita in Mahabharata said at the end that when one has a divine scripture like Gita to study, which came out from the mouth of Lord himself, no other scripture is needed;

गीता सुगीता कर्तव्य किमन्येः शाश्त्रविश्त्रीय।
या स्वयं पदमनाभस्य मुखपद्माद्विनि: सृता॥

gita sugita kartavya kim anyah shastra vistaraih I
ya svayam padmanabhasya mukha-padmad vinihsrita II

The wonderful song called Bhagavad Gita has been spoken by the lotus mouth of the Lord Padmanabha himself. What other shastras we need to seek then?

When embarked on the path of God realization, one achieves continues progress and long lasting joys. The mysteries that veil the Infinite Spirit are removed layer by layer to reveal the beloved God whose awesome omnipotence is tempered with the tender love and compassion that readily responds to a sincere call from His devotees. One becomes a God realized soul who lives in the world but is not of the world, who performs all dutiful actions without being entangled and who is active in the world but calm inside. Such souls are called Atma Gyanis (self realized) or God realized and they help the mankind to walk on the path of God realization. They promise us that as Supremeb God, the Lord Krihna talked with Arjuna to remove his veil of ignorance, so He will talk to with us also. As He lifted the consciousness of Arjuna, so He will uplift us too. As He granted Arjuna Supreme spiritual vision, so He will confer enlightenment on us too. So, arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached. Begin the journey one must make, right here and right now.
