Now a days, when the virtues are low, it has become a fashion for some famous (?) peoples to pass on derogatory remarks against religions and specially the tolerant Hindu religiion just to remain in news (they don't dare it to do the same with other religions for the fear of loosing minority votes). New Delhi advocate, Prashant Bhushan, the former AAP's founding leader and founder of Swaraj Abhiyan has recently bent himself too low once again to hurt the sentiments of millions and millions of Hindu community in India and across the globe by calling Lord Krishna a legendary eve teaser. He twited;
"Romeo loved just one lady, while Krishna was a legendary Eve teaser. Would Adityanath have the guts to call his vigilantes AntiKrishna squads? "
This he has done while commenting about Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath's new 'anti-Romeo squads' . While it is true that Yogi's action is commendable to stop crime against women and needs to be supported by one and all to control lawlessness in the state, at the same time innocent people should not be harassed in the process. Bhushan did not do anything to stop the crime against women in Delhi but could find out time to vent out his anger at the strict actions being taken in UP by the new CM.
Prashant Bhushan, it seems either does not know the Hinduism or has done it purposefully for cheap publicity. He might be practicing whatever religion he likes or might not be practicing any religion at all but that does not give him any right to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. Indian Constitution offers freedom of speech but this freedom comes when you behave as a responsible citizen, else your freedom of speech may create disharmony in the society which the law does not permits.
Hindus and Hinduism believe that Lord Krishna was the incarnation of the all powerful, omnipotent and omniscient Spirit which had descended to the earth around five thousand years ago to establish dharma (righteous duty). During His young ages, He displayed miraculous and extra ordinary powers like killing demon Putana who was sent by His maternal uncle and King Kansa to poison Him, tamed serpent Kalia, lifted Govrdhan mountain to save his people from havoc of heavy rainfall and many others. He kills cruel King Kansa and liberates his parents who were jailed by the King. The young boy Krishna was a very talented flutist and the beautiful tunes from His fluit used to attract many peoples, children, men & women and even birds and animals. The women folks called Gopis were his great admirers and they loved Krishna's divine company. The Gopis were much older than Krishna. Krishna used to play pranks with the Gopis and during such pranks, used to teach them spiritual lessons. The divinity within Lord Krishna was the cause of their attraction and pure love, not the materialistic or physical love. The unalloyed love of Gopis is a brilliant example of Bhakti, the devotion of the Gopis towards Krishna and can not be termed as an ordinary physical love with any sexual intent. The famous Ras - Leela of Krishna with thousands of Gopis where Krishna took multiple physical forms to be present with each Gopi is symbolically a union of each soul with the Spirit which is the ultimate culmination of love (Bhakti). In the path of Bhakti Yoga, the seeker continuously seeks God with deep devotion until one sees Him in everything while performing his other duties. The Sanskrit word “Bhakti” comes from the root “bhaj”, which means, to adore or worship God. The Bhakti is pure love for the sake of love and union with the Almighty through love and unamalgamated devotion. Bhakti yoga is a path to self-realization and having an experience of oneness with everything, the creation of God. Equating the pure love of the Spirit, the Lord Krishna with his disciples, the Gopis to the act of eve teasing is the sheer imagination of impure and corrupt minds.
Prashant Bhushan should study deeply the divine scripture, Shrimadbhagwad Gita to understand it's greatness and esoteric doctrine which is the testimony of the Supreme Divinity of Lord Krishna.
